Does anyone else use AdBlock?
 

I'm curious how many people have AdBlock as high up on their list as I do...

Adding the adblock extention to the Chrome browsers I use to sell on was one of the best things I ever discovered on the internet (mainly for smoother ad-free YouTube video watching at home, but also to prevent harmful pop ups, too). With my accounts that use a USB with only a single GB of data per month, I think it helps a little with data usage by preventing a lot of the graphics on ads from loading, or with pages that have self-starting video/ads on them.

If you don't know what this is, look for AdBLock under extensions in the Chrome store or even the available extensions for Safari.

Does anyone think it saves much data usage? Does anyone think it affects Stealth at all?

If no one points out any disadvantages of using it with Stealth (I haven't noticed any issues in the last 5 years or so) then I'd say it's definitely a must have, especially if you have limited data available on your internet connection.

I use Ublock on my stealth accounts.

Adblock has begun to allow adverts to squeeze through on a lot of my accounts and they seem to be more aggressive in bypassing it.

I too use ublock with ABP. Ublock also lets you choose which elements you want to block:amen:

I havent blocked any but one element..yet..but, i really wanna kill the whole right side of the page and lower left side just below search refinement and googles ads at the bottom.

Im not sure if doing so could trip something. Anyone think its safe or, not, to do so?

I want to take some screenshots of all my first place best match victories and id like a clean page!

I use a VMWare, I don't really see a need for this type of software.

VMware still has ads, MM :dance:

Its just a new computer lol

besides, Ublock and Adblock are just plugins that help my comp run faster.

IDK what that is. I'll look into it.


BTW, adblock also makes your computer a little safer against malicious pop ups and page slowing ads on those, too, FWiW. As I've always said, the stuff you learn on this site often translates to a lot of other areas of online and offline life, too.

Yeah but I don't do anything else really on these VMWares other than selling on a few sites....Yotano really needs it though!

Adblock is great on porn sites. uBlock Origin is also what I use.

i use anything that makes me see less ads on the net. All the blockers used in conjunction with each other
