Blacklogic Linking?

Has anyone been suspended for linking using Blacklogic? I just had 3 accounts created on Blacklogic go down at the same time. None of the info was shared and I used separate user accounts to create them. I was using one of Blacklogic's shared IP's addresses in the USA for all three accounts. I thought that Blacklogic was fool proof...but maybe not so much?

Thoughts....?

Did you have a dedicated ip or shared ip. Ever since aspkin mentioned black logic excessive amount of people started to use it.

lakeman 05-10-2009 11:43 AM

It's very possible ebay sees a lot of people using that shared ip and suspends all accounts used with it.

I would try a dedicated ip with them.

ebaykilla 05-10-2009 12:33 PM

i used shared as I stated above.

Burning 05-10-2009 12:36 PM

Maybe that is why. I strongly suggest that you find another company as many people use black logic.

lakeman 05-10-2009 02:31 PM

I don't think there's any problem with using black logic, as long as you have a dedicated ip. Ask for one that has never been used, there's no way to prove it hasn't been used, but you have a better chance of it working.

ebaykilla 05-11-2009 06:17 AM

you have to pay extra for them right?

all of the ones i created were linked because one of them were legitimately suspended and the rest fell down. i was just wondering if anyone else used the shared ip and got taken out too. my accounts were all done with separate user accounts on my iBook so Ip was the only thing that could possible link them.

lakeman 05-11-2009 06:40 AM

Yea, for dedicated it's like $6 a month after the discount.

Hmm, so that means you think everyone using that ip got suspended? You had all of your info different? I'm not sure how they could've linked you then.

Anyone having problems with blacklogic lately. I have not had my account with them suspended, however, my dedicated IP seems to have moved from Chicago to Houston, also my dedicated IP is now "almost" the same as the VPN server IP, which means it's shared. I contacted tech support but they seem busy with they're Middle Eastern roll outs. Luckily I use Whats my IP as my home page so I noticed right away and didn't log into ebay. It sucks though cause I was about to roll out another set off accounts. Do you think you can use any VPN as long as you're getting dedicated IP's. It's definitely more convenient than unplugging your modem constantly, especially if you have many accounts. I originally got it cause the roommates were getting pissy about me cycling there internet connection constantly, plus I didn't want there personal accounts to get linked to my business accounts. I really don't want to buy a phone line and a DSL service and have to unplug it for a bit just to switch IPs.

I would thick that any VPN w/dedicated IP would work for our proposes. Does anyone know a technical way ebay could tell your using a VPN?

gurusgrafx 06-24-2009 10:12 PM

If you want to do it right get a vps and install vpn software on it. then your the only one using that ip and your using an ip that is not associated with any vpn service.

oompaloompa 06-25-2009 05:24 AM

if you have multiple accounts, it will work out the same or cheaper to buy a line and switch ips, I mean if you have 5 or more accounts, plus its less hassle

SteveO 08-14-2009 10:12 PM

That would be handy for internet marketing as well, if your using a technique that involves multiple user accounts.

can you suggest something about this ?
i want to try this but which vps plan is enough for us to do this?
also there are many options about vps servers.linux/win,ram,processor,hdd etc..
that is important for our target?

Hi,
I think that Blacklogic may be getting over used by us here.
When using the UK blacklogic IP the other day I managed to limit a Paypal account and wipe out 2 Ebay accounts. These accounts had worked fine up until then and had not been used for any suspect activity.
None were linked, and Ive had no problems opening my main Ebay and Paypal account with my home IP, so I can just gather that it must be the Blacklogic IP thats to blame.

agree with you.Blaclogic is not useful.you can get limited quickly.also customer service is awful
