Would doing this link accounts....?
 

Here's one for the gurus..

I used one windows ID to login to ebay answer a few questions, login to paypal and withdraw funds.

A few hours later, I changed IP and windows ID and logged into a second account and did more of the same, logging into both sites.

When I logged off the second account, I noticed that the first one still said logged in. I thought 'oh crap' and opened the ID and both a page of ebay and paypal were still open.

If I didn't actually send/receive any data during this time on the new IP on the second account, will they still be aware?

I'm thinking 50-50, maybe more on the "NO" side, but I could be wrong as I have been many times before!

As long as your accounts are on separate user accounts you're fine. You don't have to 'log out' between user accounts. Just make sure before working with a different user account that you reset your ip address and you will be fine.

As long as the pages on the account you were not using when you switched users did not refresh at all, you are fine.

I assumed that it needed some kind of 'action' to take place for ebay to know the IP had been switched but just needed to check!

yeah done that before too. nothing happened tho.
