Is it still advised to not use flash player?

I have a stealth running for 2 years now without a hitch. I use firefox portable for that. But my main browser is opera and im always prompted to install flash player to get certain things working.

Can I go ahead with installing it or leave it be?

Flash player for eb has not caused me issues...

I haven't used FLASH in like 10 years and I'm doing great!
