Can i Reinstall Windows and use the same laptop ?
 

Hi Guys, i need some help on this

i want to create a new ebay account ( stealth )

i have a laptop and rather than creating a new user id i am worried in case i ever login to another user by mistake, is it better to just buy any 2nd hand laptop which has windows freshly installed, or can i just reinstall windows on my current laptop, will that take all the cookies etc away ?

i will be using a internet dongle so i will have a new internet connection ip

clear browsing history.......No need to over complicate things. Every account needs a new user account. If you plan on using stealth, get organized and start using user accounts because you will need and want multiple accounts.

If you want just one single account, you are being naive thinking this is a solid business plan. You will be in the same boat as you are now at one point or another. Use multiple accounts and spread risk.

Agree with Yankee, now a days there's no need to go to the extreme of reinstalling Windows. Making a new User Account will be enough.

I have a similar question:

Currently, I'm using a dedicated 2nd laptop for my ebay stealth operation. I would like to use my personal laptop under a different user account and continue using the same Verizon MiFi I purchased to access the ebay/paypal account. This way I don't have to carry 2 laptops (and I could sell the second one).

I am afraid an issue may arise because I will not have cookies built up on the new user account on my personal laptop.

Thoughts? Any assistance would be appreciated. Just want to make sure I don't drop the ball and get linked because I HAVE accessed an account that was limited to only buying on my personal laptop.

Not sure I understand the ? but I will try...most use a different windows user acct for each pp/ebay acct.

Or as stated above just use different browsers for diff. accounts on same windows user. BE CAREFUL doing this I have never had a problem but always change ip's etc. If youre new at this ;) I recommend 1 windows user per 1 acct.

and there are a few ways to take your cookies with you to different computers etc pretty straight forward just google it
