Completly changing all hosted URL'S in HTML in a listing

I copied the outline of other successful Ebay auctions (Copy and paste) and mostly put my description and changed some of the pictures around. And I did well with my auctions because they "looked good". But for other silly reasons I was suspended
So I created new identities and I mostly followed all the proper stealth tactics except checking the HTML links in the actual postings. And among the different accounts it turns out they where all hosted in exactly the same spot. same sub directories etc.
Obviously I want to change those urls to another spot so they don't again get linked to my old suspended accounts.

It turns out there are many many many different images hosted on all different servers (even some from the companies where I originally copied the code from).

I cant get linked again.

Is there some type of program or filter that would allow me to put EVERY image in an HTML file on one and only one server? What can you recommend besides the obvious? thanks

Well you can go to the auction, and in Firefox or whatever browser you are using go to File then select Save Page As.

This will save the page, it's HTML and all it's images to your desktop

Then you can upload those images to whatever image host you want to use, and link to them directly from your auction.

If it were me that's what I would do.

Another option is to screen capture the auction, then just slice it up in photoshop to be hosted elsewhere.

I highly recommend Dropbox for your hosting. It's completely free! Dropbox - Home - Secure backup, sync and sharing made easy.

The process of uploading is really simple too. The program syncs a folder (default name of the folder is PUBLIC) to their server. You simply drag and drop objects into the folder and it automatically uploads and is hosted online. Right click the icon and click "Copy public link" and the URL to the object is automatically loaded into your clipboard. All you need to do next is CTRL+V to paste it.

BTW, dropbox is both PC (Windows/Linux) and Mac compatible!

Thanks Aspkin . That did the trick. I cut the HTML straight out of auctiva and put it directly into the html section of front page. Saved it locally as a front page template. Then reopened it using front page and checked for looks. Then switched to html view and cut and paste it back into auctiva. Every single link was changed except for 2 (404) . That’s pretty unlink able I would say. Thanks for saving me a ton of time. And thank you inverser. I didn’t try drop box because Aspkins way was successful but I appreciate your input.

Did you crop your photos or change the brightness/contrast so that they wouldn't have the same hash value? Bots look for that kind of thing when attempting to link users.

I just tried on another much larger listing. It worked like a charm. I am no longer linkable via URL' s any more. now I just have to change a bunch of that other crap. You know actual pictures that I use.....wording. etc... It is a good day. Today . :)

Isn't it so nice when something actually goes right, for a change?
