Need to clean photos?
 

Hi,
Am I right in thinking I don’t need to clean photos when using a brand new tablet? And that I can use the eBay app? This device will only be used for one stealth account!

Yes you want to be sure the meta data is removed . Simple process

Thanks for the advice. Do you have a recommended tool to use on a Samsung Galaxy tab to do that please?

If you're using a brand new device with a brand new camera (and therefore brand new photos) there's no reason for you to clean them. The EXIF data would be totally unique to your new device.

Batchpurifier is an excellent EXIF stripper though if you still want to do it. It's only for Windows as far as I know.

Thanks for that, yes it a brand new tablet and has a built in camera which I will be using. I thought I had read somewhere that you don’t need to clean them but some people say you do! I think I will just to be safe but need to find a tool to use on the tablet.

EZ UnEXIF Free (android)

Both of those apps offer free and paid versions. So does Batchpurifier which I use on Windows. Usually there's no need for paid versions if you're just going to be stripping JPEG's for eBay.
