Are ebay tracking postal code of your address?
 

I got restricted with 1 ebay category . I can not sell it .

so I made 2 stealth account with my brother name and my neighbor name ..

everything do with different ip address, different computer .

but 1 got suspend after I post the product with the ban category , 1 still active .. I think I'm stealth enough ..

both have different address . but my neighbor address use same postal code .

I just wandering if ebay track the same zip code ..

Can't be the same postal code, a lot of eBay users use the same zip code.

Must be a very risky item... which category? More details on what you are trying to sell?

Yeah, that would dumb for ebay to ban based on postal code. No one bans based on Postal Code people.

No! postal codes can't be banned. That'd be the same as banning a % of the entire city.

Im banning on this category .. and I make new account with my friends name ..

There's no connection , only the items is the same..

Matching on post code alone would be laughable.

What they match on is a COMBINATION of factors, not just ONE thing. For example, they won't link with the same name alone. But, combine that name with the same city and/or address, and you have a potential match. The more things that match up, the stronger the link.
