Default Is it safe to do this?

Just started my eBay Stealth account journey. I am thinking how to give the address for return item. What suggested in the book is a PO box.

For some reason I found PO box is no good for me. Is it safe to reply the buyer directly to their email address(Not through Ebay message) with my actual address (which is Ebay blacklisted already)?

I thought it should be ok as buyers should not care the difference between the return address and the address registered with Ebay with my most my item worth only 10-15 pounds.

Anyone give a comment on this or think the buyer might report this to Ebay?

What's the reason that a PO Box is not good for you? What about a friend or relatives address? You may leave yourself open to someone (competitor) reporting you for having the different addresses. It's just one less thing that would open you up to any problems.

In the ebook it recommends not using "PO Box" in the address so you want to find a provider that will give you a real address with a box number.

For example:
XYZ Company
1234 Big Street #777
Anywhere, XX 98765

A PO Box is the safest way to do this.
Using your real address is a BAD idea for VERO items.
You really never know who the person wanting to return the item is or who they work for.

PO Box could be just as bad though right? They have your name and everything.

I will only use each of my account 2-3 mons and just let it go.

Here at my place the PO box cost about 65 pounds/half yr. One thing it's not very cheap. Another thing, I will need to open 4-5 PO box a year then, which I think maybe not a long term plan?

I am not local in the UK having no relatives here at all and not many friends. Could find a couple of them willing to help, but still thinking it's not a long term plan anyway.

Has anyone actually tried finding a vacant block at the end of a street and placed their own letter box there? Would be an interesting idea if it worked.

65 pounds/half yr? how large is the po box are you getting?

just open a small po box with less cost. if the return mails are too big to fit in, post office normally leave a pick-up note in your mail box.

this is the way how U.S. postal handle it here.

With all of the vacant houses out there due to the foreclosure situation was considering using those addresses.

Wouldn't work though if they lost their home due to the arbitrary way ebay susepnds accounts and that's how they were paying their bills and they lost their source of income and that adress is black-listed
