Anyone doing this using multi WiFi hotspots?

Anyone using a laptop from various free WiFi hotspots?

It is my understanding that if I have 5 accounts on ebay
and have 5 Windows user accounts (obviously one for each ebay account) that I could just drive from one to the other and log out of one windows account and back into another.
I am almost certain that I read here a while back that cookies are specific to the user account that you are logged into.
Obviously you'd have to make sure you always access the same account at the same hotspot. I would only do this after setting everything up on a secure systems first.

So...anyone doing anything like this?

I'm sure most people do something like this.. but instead of driving around for a new IP Address they simply reset their ISP.

and/or extend the wi-fuŽ range in such a way that many signals can be received without moving geographically.

not familiar with the terminology or technology

I have probably a dozen or more hotspots within a mile of my house so it's not a big deal for me, but it wouldn't be my primary way of doing business.

What I meant was to have a better wi-fi receiver so you can get more signals from farther away, without having to open the front door and leave the house.

From my chair, right here, I can allegedly pick up well over 100 signals which are unencrypted or very weakly encrypted. About 1/3 of those, I could change their MAC and reboot their modem remotely.

If I wanted to.

If the administrator password hasn't been changed you can access the router and release/renew DHCP. The router will then be assigned a new IP address.

You can figure which router it is by trial and error.
