Can I just print labels on pirateship, and type in the tracking number into my stealth account's order to add shipping details?

This way you don't have to link the pirateship account to the eBay account.


Sorry if this questions seems noobish, this is my first stealth account since the new PayPal updates. I used to just print them from eBay using PayPal, but no can do anymore.

Why would you not want to link to ebay?

The whole point of using shipstation or pirateship is to save the hassle of loading tracking numbers or logging into ebay..

Just never done it before. I'm new to the whole thing. I can link a stealth account to pirateship and not affect the safety of the stealth account?

Does it need to be on the same user acc/IP address?


I have no clue about any of this so I apologize if my questions seem silly.

Log into ebay, then log into Pirate ship. Link account....

Do this on all ebay accounts. Log into ebay forst, then the pirateship for each account.

After they are all linked, it will not matter how you log into pirateship.

Okay. Thanks for the info. So the initial log in should be from same user acc/IP address.
Then after that, it doesn't matter where you log into Pirateship with.

That's correct.

Additionally, it's not harmful to manually enter orders into pirateship and then manually enter tracking numbers into eBay. (but as yankee pointed out, it's pointless with a free service like pirateship) I've always used stamps.com (which isn't free) and only have 3 accounts with them, so for all of my other eBay accounts other than the 3 that have dedicated stamps.com accounts I've always entered orders into the software and posted tracking back to eBay manually.

Hey phaz0rz, last question on that: When you link an account to it, is it okay to use your real information (address and CC) ?

Yes. These Tokens are only communicating orders back and forth, not credit card information etc.

I really like Pirateship... makes things a lot easier.

Don't worry about the tokens, it won't disclose your personal info, it's just linking the info you need to ship to and that's it
