Deleting cookies all the time with Firefox
 

Hello,
I have set Firefox to delete cookies everytime i log off and i have a different IP address every time i turn my computer on. I also delete all my flash cookies every 3/4 days.

Is this a good idea? Or will Ebay wonder why everytime i log on there is no cookies and IP is always different?

No that's not a good idea. You should not delete your cookies. If you use more then one account the use separate user accounts but don't delete your cookies.

Right thanks for that, see the problem i have is i am using a friends account after my account got suspended. She still uses the account herself but only for buying and maybe once a month at most. She has had the account since 2003 and it has a perfect standing.

For the past year she has had the same IP address as its static. My IP however changes everytime i log on so i was a bit worried about having cookies on mine and her PC.

How does this work? if they still have cookies logged on her computer which has been using the account for a year, is this not enough? Or will they think, why is a new IP logging on every day to answer questions?

I have been using it now for 3 weeks with no problems as yet but any advice would be good,

It won't be a problem. Could just say she is accessing it at work and at home. But don't keep deleting the cookies. That might make things worse.
