The previous thread was mostly from 2008 so is it ok to use a 4G smartphone tethered to a new computer both used only for ebay to eliminate the need for VPN and the other steps?

VPN should be a last resort. We run all our accounts on mobile IPs.

What's your method on this? Do you use a different mobile hotspot device that's a different model for each account, or do you use ones that are from a different mobile carrier... or another way?

Why does everyone here recommend "Fressh IP VPNs" then?
I mean, ebay can see the IPs belongs to a mobile carrier the same way VPNs belong to a datacenter.

ive tried tethering my mobile but the ip pool is limited? any good recommendations

Get a LTE Proxy Ip address or VPN. they are usually TRUE unlimited (not it's not verizon, att, etc) you have to configure things up yourself. they run about good price. (no, i don't sell any of those) you can search on line for a LTE proxy.

You can get Verizon Beyond Unlimited mobile device service is only $20/month if you bundle it with other devices. It gives you about 12 GB/month data per device, before they start to throttle you. It's usually more than enough, unless you're downloading a bunch of video files

Try to use any VPN from a virgin data center like purevpn.
