Hi guys....
i was wondering i have a new laptop with mobile broadband.
If however i decide to use the laptop uising my BT HOME HUB broadband connection will me IP address be the same or completely different?
thanks for any help...

You can check your own IP to see if it has been or can be changed. IP Chicken - Whats my IP address? ip address lookup will show you your current IP as it is seen by websites. Then attempt to change your IP based on any of the tutorials here that apply to your connection type. Check with ipchicken again to see what happens.

x2 different means to connect to t'internet means x2 different IPs. The mobile differs from the broadband.... there's a really deep techie reason. But it's too late for me to explain. They are different... I use a mobible to access sometimes. Then I disconnect that session, power up the broadband and the numbers that count (IP) are different:peace:
