Microsoft edge browser

Has anyone tested the Microsoft edge browser next to firefox?

Is it as secure?

Looks like Microsoft is finally stepping their game up and i was interested in their browser if its worth it

It runs way smoothly then it's older relative, I been using chromium lately as it works perfect with microsoft surface multi-touch screen, about security i think you need to secur it yourself anyway like most of browsers.
