Phone linked with bad ebay acc as a hotspot?
 

hey guys, i have a phone that had an ebay app which went bad and got banned, can I delete the app and all the data from internet, and simply use it as a hotspot with a new sim card? i want to connect it to a laptop which i have with a good ebay account I made new.

Im pretty confident if I delete everything including the app, and install a new sim card which has new IP address, and then hotspot it only (never use ebay on that phone) to a laptop, they cant catch me, would I be right to assume so?

Being only used as a hotspot for IP source is fine

Reset the phone to factory setting, just to be safe

would that also mean you can factory reset the phone and use the app with a new account? the phone id/imei should be the same, right? I'd really like to use my main phone again for the app but it was linked with a blocked account.

airplane mode > hotspot
rinse repeat to get a new ip

Reset the phone.Everything will be ok.
