New IP is not really a Brand NEW one. I Need your opinion to not get linked.

I have updated my IP address but the first 2 portion of the new IP are identical to old one. This could give ebay idea about my location, even my town. Since max number of unique IPs could be 255x255=65025 (small enough to be assinged for a town or for a small region) when the first 2 portion are the same. for example old IP: 68.138.Xxx.yyy new: 68.138.ZZZ.TTT

ebay may still want to link my old (suspended) account with the new one by using this info. I hope I was able to express my concern

Additional note: this is a buyer account, and the shipping adress would be the same as old address. Thus, IP concern was above wont be the only data they would use to link my accounts. BTW, New account is a 5year old account under my friends name.

As long as the exact IP is not re-used you should be fine

Even if only the last subnet is different
