LSO flash cookies

hey, i have something on my pc called objection which i was advised to get from ebay stealth 2.1 , which removes all LSO (flash cookies).. i recently read ebay stealth 3.0 and it said it is a good idea to check whether the flash cookies have been deleted checking the volume on youtube o see if it is the same as you left it.. i have just tried i to make sure but the volume is still where i left it after i have removed all browser cookies and LSO with objection.. does this mean that my accounts are linked now? thanks

thanks for that, but i am still a little confused as to whether i am safe or not.. i have been logging into two different accounts for about three weeks now..(one of them suspended for 30 days).. if i was linked, would they have suspended my other account by now? or can it take time for them to find out? and is there any other way i can remove the flash cookies other than objection, thanks again

You're reading way too much into it.

Just use 'user accounts' as the guide says, and you won't have to mess with your cookies or flash objects again. Read the guide again if you don't understand.

The best way to check to see if LSOs have been deleted is by opening up the Website Storage Settings panel. You can do that by visiting the following link:

Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Storage Settings panel

Adobe has a Flash control panel embedded into the page that allows you to personalize the settings. You can even change settings completely blocking site specific LSOs, for instance, everything from eBay and PayPal!

The LSOs from eBay look like this: secureinclude.ebaystatic.com.

As Aspkin pointed out you should be using user accounts Casual92.

You seem to be causing yourself a few problems of late :)

The key to success is to keep your accounts isolated.... and that means not logging in to them on different PCs and certainly not logging in to more then one account per Windows user account.

I am using betterprivacy as well. Objection will no longer download into my computer. Error message says, not compatible with my FF version.

Anyway, good to know you are using BP too.

on IE, is it just a question of checking adobe settings manager to make sure nothing is on there or delete it? or is there a IE download at all?

Yes, for IE and Safari, open up the Adobe Settings Manager page and delete everything in there.

Gotta do it manually since there aren't any add-ons like Better Privacy for those browsers.

Why wouldnt you use user accounts? It saves any worries about cookies and its probably better to have the cookies and flash cookies there anyway
