Gmail tracking computers ?
 

I have not been able to open a Gmail account from laptop for over a week. Just tried on 2nd computer using same IP and everthing was fine. new account opened 1st time.

Re laptop; After i click submit gmail wants to send pin number to my mobile for verification.

I am trying on super private windows user account so flash, cookies, everything is already cleared. I am sure of this. I also tried to switch IP's on laptop same thing happens with request for telephone verification.

This is somewhat scary.

Any insights ?

i came across this today when signing a friend up. i would like to know whats going on too. its a shame we have to go through all these hoops and loops just to use these services.

Yeah, Gmail did the same to me last week, with the phone verification thing.

I waited a day and dumped the Google Flash Cookies, and just opened a new Gmail account.

I couldn't deal with all the hoops. Real time intensive.

New windows user account, and a new IP and you still had issues?
