Hey Gang,

So first of all, let me say there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE that this is in use by eBay, PayPal, or anyone else currently, but it is pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share the link.

Give it a shot and see how unique your browser configuration is. Can you be uniquely identified by things other than your IP address, cookies, and flash cookies?

Again, just an interesting read/proof of concept at this point, but it is a little scary!

ebay would have developed similar kind of tracking tools...proprietary to their own research...but thanks for sharing.
