Hide my IP is good or not ?
 

I have a program called Hide My IP platinum i paid for a server and is very fast, i want just to know if we can use this in ebay or ebay will know that you have this?

Ebay and PP LOVE to know who are you and from where are you login. So I dont thing that hiding your IP is a Good Idea.
Why dont you change the IP instead of hiding it?

This is not recommended at all ebay/paypal knows that you are using a proxy. You will have problems will messages saying that you are account has been accessed by a 3rd party etc...

Hide my IP is not a proxy program check in the website Is very fast program. I can get a Canadian IP in 5 sec so i ask because is very fast.

It won't work for eBay/PayPal, trust us. :)

Can I use Hide My IP to block my IP address on sites like Craigslist, eBay, and Amazon?

Yes, your real IP address will be totally concealed on all websites including Craigslist, eBay, and Amazon.

But my account is registered in the US. and I am currently using VPN.
Does it mean that I have to change my registeration info back to hong kong?
I did that to my old account and got hit by MC152....

I have HIDE MY IP as well. I have used it with ebay and paypal. Like I said I got a email from PayPal stating that they know I was accessing thier website using a proxy that is what HIDE MY IP is. They said don't do it again and it's in thier TOS. But if you think you can use it go ahead and see what happens.

As i see from this forum threads every try to use proxy, vpn or other stuff to hide your ip will result your paypal account limitation or ebay account block. So is there any other way to use multiple ebay accounts on same computer with constant ip address without getting blocked ?

Read there fine print, if they see you are using a different PC they will shut you down and tell you it is only for one PC only.

Way to much hassle when there are better ways to get different IP's.

I don't have a problem with resurrecting old posts as long as they're still relevant and useful.

Still shouldn't use hide the ip.

I have used a VPN for some time now, on more than one account, with no issues. I cannot just change my IP at will like some of you can, I have no direct access to the modem.

hide my ip is a proxy, most vpns work if you get a unique ip address.

Thanks for the clarification. I was not sure exactly. I tried a proxy once, did not work. Not a good place to save money, I discovered. :doh:
