webmail IPs
Not talking gmail but myname@mydomain.com
I ran some emails back and forth between gmail and a real email address, all through webmail with images turned off. And when looking at source properties there is no sign of my IP anywhere. Both ips from my webmail and gmail show from server in the US
So is it safe to read and reply via the domains webmail? This is for mostly reading. If an important reply is needed I would switch users/IP and log into ebay and answer there. From my tests it seems ok. Am I missing something?
Also, since the domain webmail server is in Texas and shows it came from the Texas IP, will this be a problem since ebay and paypal know I'm in Canada?
Again, pretty much just to read mail and see if its something that needs immediate attention. I have images off, but its not a perfect world. So in case it sends return receipts or show image or whatnot against my wishes...
