one vs many IP addresses

I have a wireless modem connection which i can only restart to get a new IP. The problem tho is that everytime i restart i get a totally random IP. Wouldent it be safer to use the same IP everytime you use an account? Doesent ebay ask for certain info if the account is being used to sell or even just loged into from a different IP all the time? They ask for the pin number when they call you dont they? Stuff like this i want to avoid.

Better if you can selectively pick the IP so you can always use IP "A" with Login "A". Unfortunately, most DSL and Cellular Broadband users can't do that. You pretty much need a cable modem or a series of dedicated dialup providers.

But, it's no tragedy if your IP is never the same. If you keep your cookies, that trumps the IP.

So i should just have multiple user accounts per each website account and be sure to log on to the website account with the same user account as to show the same cookies?

1 User account per Ebay/Paypal account, Make sure to get a new IP address Everytime you switch over to another User account. If you use this Method you will not need to clear cookies, as long as you use the SAME user account to ALWAYS Log onto the SAME Ebay/Paypal accounts.

if you keep your cookies and your legit seller then i think everything will be fine even if you switch ip's.

If your not legit well i suggest get rid of history cookies and temp files.

Not needed if you are using seperate usre accounts for each Ebay/paypal account

Siccspitz,

Why if you are not legit you are risking more to get caught by having cookies/temp files?
Please advise.

@madsam,

siccspitz is wrong. There is no reason to delete history, cookies or temp files as long you are using separate user accounts as recommended in the Stealth Book.

You are Risking More by Deleting Cookies and LSO's, If you are Legit there is NO Reason to Delete these Objects from your Computer, Correct, Well Ebay, Amazon and the rest KNOW This.

All of these tracking Objects are placed in files on your Computer For a SPECIFIC User account, therefore if you have different User Accounts for each Ebay, Paypal, Amazon and the rest the Only Cookies will be those placed on file for that Specific User.

Look at it this way, if at work there is 1 Computer that is shared among 3 Different People, with each person having ther own User account protected with there own password, and a Crime is Commited on a Website by 1 of the Users, By going into each user account you can Clearly see the Cookies that the Website Placed on the Computer where the Crime was commited on ONLY 1 User Account, NOT The other 2.----Thats A FACT

The Same applies to Ebay, Amazon, ect, ect

This is the Logic that Dictates the reason that Ebay and the rest Get suspicious when The DO NOT SEE THERE COOKIES

So it is BEST to Create SEPERATE USER ACCOUNTS and to give them some damm Milk with there Cookies.
