This may be a silly question but can i use my blackberry as a dynamic ip when plugged into my laptop just wondering because my cable company ip is static ip

Yes but you have to have the tether phone plan which is expensive to be able to use the blackberry as a internet source. It also does not allow you to get phone calls while online.

Get the mobile wifi or mifi devices from sprint or verizon....new ip every reboot and fast reboot with high speed like surfing speeds.

If you go through Verizon it's free unless you go over 5MB per month of data usage and you can still recieve calls you just lose the internet connection while it's ringing then you're back on.

Its 5GB, not MB. As long as ur not watching videos or streaming radio, 5GB is alot

i use pdanet to tether to my laptop for FREE just disconect the network and then turn it back on and u get a new ip

Depending on your carrier, I have Sprint, you can tether for free. PM ME FOR DETAILS.

I highly recommend tether.com to tether blackberries. It looks like they support other operating systems as well now.
