Already a website Habbo Hotel uses Shockwave and when it bans you it puts a local shared object to track you as a hidden cookie, too.

Browser K-Meleon has a built-in Flashblock feature that works if Javascript is on.

So if you ever see ebay starting to put Flash on its site, watch out!

That is nasty.

That was how Habbo Hotel banned people. It was in the shockwave subdirectory, though. Habbo Hotel bans you if you make your character dark skinned, wears a suit and tie, and then has an afro -- and then you take your character to a room where there's a swimming pool and shout that the pool is closed due to AIDS. It's a popular prank to do on that site, sort of an in joke.

Bank of America uses it to verify your identity for their website, though it doesn't work quite properly for their site.

when this happens, just uninstall flash, then reinstall it and not put it on the browser you use to log into your ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ebay acounts.

I use flashblocker add-on for firefox and i have had no problems.

Thats not a joke and its not funny at all. We all know Aids starting with the gay queers in San Fransisco
