paypal and ebay managing real account from another city...
 

i have a legit info from a friend that wants to sell some stuff. he computer illiterate so i can do it all for him while i manage his sales and auctions etc. problem is he is in another city like an hour away from me in car. so when i register a new ebay and paypal with him everything is legit, but i will be working from an ip from another city. is that a problem or no?

Not a problem. Most ISPs supply a range of IP numbers for a given area. But if there is lots of traffic on a network, the geolocation may show as different. The issue comes down to the IP range being the same, the account being operated correctly.

Lakeman has confirmed this on more than one occasion as have others. My own accounts show me as being anything from 10 miles to 900 miles from my actual address.

Yeah, I wouldn't worry much about this. For my first ebay business, I was registered in the states and operating out of spain, and they really didn't care much.

what do you mena by ip range? examples please and tips how what to avoid with same ip range?
