Safe to use add-on domains for image hosting?

Hello everyone,

I have a hosting account with Host Gator. Lets say the main domain I have for the hosting is www.maindomain.com. For my FIRST-ever eBay account, I did self-hosting for images all out of www.maindomain.com.

I have since then purchased a domain (let's say www.seconddomain.com) and added it onto the hosting of maindomain as an addon domain.

My question is this: If I use www.seconddomain.com to host the images for my NEW, SECOND eBay account, will eBay somehow be able to "see" that the two domains are linked together? Should I purchase an all-new hosting package for my images? Or do they just check the domain name of the images.

Thanks for any help! :hail:

Any word on this from anybody? Should I perhaps post this question in another sub-forum?

A whois search can show the two domains are together. But not sure if eBay checks that.

hosting is so cheap its best to play safe and get a new host for the second account.
