Westell 7500 all in one modem& router. How to change Ip? HELPPPPP PLSSSS
 

ordered new dsl isp. they gave me westell 7500 all in one modem and router. I seriously have been trying it for sooo many times to change my ip and it still not changing. PLS HELP. It is driving me banana and im losing my hair doing this. HELPPPPPPP. :mad:

I have a Westell 7500 too and I have no problem changing my ip address. Just turn it off for 30 secs and turn it back on and you have a new ip address...

NOWAY. i did that so many times that i was worried the thing might break. i left it overnight and still the same ip address. hit reset..same ip. fool around with the router/modem page then internet didnt even work so have to reset the thing again but then still same ip.

are you using verizon? do u still need to config and all that stuff?

Not all isp's allow you to change ip, it depends on who you your provider is...

Well it used to be Verizon, but its now Frontier.

did you ever figure this out? because I am having this same exact problem! its pissing me off
