Verizon IP

I know it's been discussed here plenty of times but I have to get clarification..

I'm moving to an office that uses Verizon for internet. I don't have control over the IP admin controls and really don't want to have to ask for access/to mess with it.

Is it possible to change the IP by just rebooting the router and modem?

Any clarification is much appreciated. Thanks!

if its dsl with dynamic ip your good a simple turn off and on should do. If you are unlucky and it doesnt gonna have to go a different route.
