How safe would it be force stopping and clearing data on stupid? I'm rooted so besides tethering I can change ips too. Or should I clear dalvik,cache etc in recovery first as well? I understand to 99% people they have no idea about rooted phones

No? You just turn data off and back on.ip switches. I have an ip widget from the market that shows current ip... 3g I have an evo 4g though. Best phone ever.wish the forum was taptalk compatible. Im on it now.using swype so sometimes I write like I'm dyslexic

That's sweet. have you kept a log of the ips? I've known some Sprint devices to cycle through only 10 or so ip's.

Is there a free software where it checks for duplicate IP's once submitted?

That way it can flag me and warn me its an used IP

Yes, it's called excel.

Right on First Edition. Just keep a log of all your IPs in Excel, whenever you add a new IP you're going to use go to the Find & Select option - search if the IP has already been logged and you'll know if you've used it before.

I kept logs for 3 weeks once. no duplicates, i doubt ebay or paypal would ban people because their cell phone linked them to someone else.. But dumber stuff has happened. i started keeping track again tonight

There are mobile versions of excel also... I know with blackberries, the newer ones, it has a spreadsheet app preloaded that works surprisingly well, considering it's on a phone.

ya at first i kept track and then it was like whyyyyyy...lol
