It is safe to have multiple accounts on a LAN?

Hi, I made this question a couple of times in the forum, but I see a concrete answer.
My idea:
3 computers connect to a lan network (obviously each with a different IP).
and each computer has a ebay account and pp.
Is my idea safe?
Thanks.

Other folx can correct me if i am wrong but 1 LAN network = 1 IP.

This is not the safest of ideas since all 3 computers are looked at as connecting from 1 IP. They could operate ok but you might be linked.

This won't work unless you reset the router before connecting to the internet each time on each PC. Even then you might not get a new IP and would have to check. This is not a good option.

just put diff. routers on each computer and change the ip with the router :) but it kinda kills the lan idea really

.

Networks and routers wont change IP from PC to PC. The ISP will create the IP on its end using the closest router. The rest wont mater. So all computers will have the same IP.

You can manipulate IPS with a router, but only one at a time

Dont confuse the PCs IP addresses with your internet IP. Thats the IP they look at.

what pod said...you gotta know what you are doing to get a diff. ip on each individual computer and then really the LAN is not really a LAN
