wow,they linked because of this
 

i setup a new account and linked it to a wachovia savings acct i hadnt used.I noticed after a cpl days the bank took the liberty to move the deposit from the savings to my checking.I suspected this happened before but i dismissed it as me making a mistake and thinking i put in savings info but actually put checking info.Meaning i had another set of accts get linked a few weeks ago and i was suspiscious that this is what happened,so i made sure this time to be 100 percent sure i actually put the savings info

so i i was 100 percent sure that it was a savings acct attached to paypal,i made sure to look about 10 times before i withdrew money.It showed up in the bank savings acct and i didnt touch it.about 2 days later i notice that money is now in my checking acct!

Since i suspected this was a reason i got linked recently,i logged into paypal to see what acct they had on file and sure enough i was limited because linked to another user.I look under my bank profile and BAMN! It has the checking acct,not the savings.i never entered this checking acct into this paypal and it was part of a previous banned acct so thats obviously how it happened

So you got the accounts confused when you added them to PayPal? Or is this something Wachovia did?

Op is saying he didnt get them confused....I dont get it, why would bank mix them up, its not something in their procedure to do, I mean they would mix stuff up in-house, but why would they give paypal the other accounts info?...Its like the money hit the savings but then within the bank went to the checking account, dont think it involved paypal, only info paypal gets is what you give them

wachovia doing weird things now since wells fargo owns it.
