I need to clear all evidence ( cookies, cache etc) of a suspended eBay account from my iPhones eBay app. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks in anticipation |
| pidge90 | 01-03-2011 09:04 PM | I know if you go to settings, safari you can delete history, cookies and cache in there. But im not sure if that would delete all the ebay app evidence. Ive ran multiple accounts on my iphone ebay app for months now and ive had no problems at all. Also two old accounts i used to use on my iphone have been blocked but not linked. So you should be fine i think. But if you wanna be extra extra safe, only other way is to restore your iphone. Good luck |

So an app would potentially be able to tell if the same phone was logging into different accounts, no matter how many times u clean up your cache, history, and cookies. If nobody has been linked yet, that is good news.
I use android and just installed the paypal app, I will only use 1 pp account on it but I hope they dont catch me for changing IP. |

Re: Deleting iPhone eBay app cache Ebay/PP apps are NOT recommended...AT ALL!!!! |

I don't know if anyone has used it for deleting something from iPhone.
Please give me some advice, linked here. |

If so, a factory restore should suffice. |

In my experience, a factory reset does suffice.
I still wouldn't recommend the use of eBay/PayPal apps though, for the aforementioned reasons. |

So whilst it is technically fine to do, it is not advisable. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:28 AM. | |
