Default Just blown it!

Hi to everyone here. This site seems full of great info and i plan to buy the stealth guide this week.

My original account got suspended nearly 10 years ago now and normally i've had no trouble setting up new accounts with just a different phone no, but same paypal, etc and they've always taken at least a good 9 months to catch up with me.
These days though, they seem to catch you within 30 mins.
I remembered an old buying account (from 2004!) i had and listed a few things on there a few days ago (didn't need any verification). Tonight though they've caught up with me and are suspicious about logging in from a different PC(?). Suspended.

I'm annoyed they're so sharp on banning genuine people who are just trying to set up again after a few mistakes years ago. I mean, it all makes them money doesn't it?

Do you think i could just BUY an ebay selling account and always login from a phone?
Thanks and sorry for such a long post. I'm stressed!
Gem x

Hi Gem!

Not sure why you are thinking just logging in from a phone?

Once you learn the Stealth Techniques you will be able to conduct your eBay business without the worry of linked past suspended accounts.

You will be just like a Brand New person selling on eBay for the 1st time. :D

Welcome to the forum Gemma - no "seems full of great info" - it just is ha.

If you buy an eb ay selling account, you can work it well but perhaps you are trying to sell too quickly.

As TGMTxTGMT has stated, the stealth techniques work well. All the best.

Thanks guys, I still can't believe Ebay have bots tracing IP numbers and stuff.
With the accounts i've set up lately, i only ever get 1 item listed before they find me.
I really didn't think this old account would get banned just because of the matching IP address.
Looks like i need the stealth guide after all!

Things have changed a lot and will continue to change. Forum does a solid job of making notes and trends and helping to shift account tactics =)

Ha I hear you on your initial surprise. I still remember when I could set up accounts on the same comp way back at the end of 99 every day when I needed to. Would not even have to worry about phone numbers and addresses - diff e-mail and away I went ha - good times /R.I.P. cheques and money orders in the mail...

LOL, why though? Why are Ebay so desperate to keep people away? We're all making money for them at the end of the day.
Wish Yahoo Auctions were still going...

They are desperate to avoid FRAUD. Couple of bad apples spoil the sauce so to speak - you KNOW not everyone is "golden-hearted" - scams are a dime a dozen and eb ay knows the amount of losses it sustains due to fraud.

"We" all don't make money for them - read around the forums and you will see posts about people who OWE and are happy to walk away...

That's one reason why they bought up pa yp al and heavily push its use - Control freaks.
