MAC id switch is starting to stop my internet...
 

So I switch my MAC id's with a linksys...been doing this for a couple years. I don't know why, but tonight it just stopped working. If I try to switch my MAC id, the internet never comes back on...I haven't changed anything about what I do and I haven't changed anything on my computer.

However, when I go back to my main MAC id, the internet pops back up just fine...anyone had this happen? Would appreciate help ASAP as I have questions to answer and labels to print and I'm worried about leaving these people hanging!

Nope to all :( I have Cox. It's stressing me out right now because I can do nothing with any of my accounts and I have questions waiting and shipping needing to be done. I have always only changed the last 4 characters/digits and I change them to the same thing for each account, I never alter it. Internet doesn't work at all, except on the main/primary MAC ID...do you think my router is on the fritz or something?

I assume that you are unplugging the router for a few seconds after switching the MAC address? This was an easy fix to this problem for me... but one I overlooked at the beginning nonetheless.
