kijiji / gumtree / classifieds sites owned by ebay

Is anyone else using free online classifieds sites ?
I just discovered that for instance Kijiji in the US and Gumtree in the UK are owned by ebay as well.
I'm using gumtree in the UK to sell things locally as it is very easy to use.
But I'm bit worried ebay may be tracking people on there are well in order to link suspended and not suspended ebay accounts, e.g. through my email or IP.
Does anyone know more ?

Ebay bought like 25% of stocks from Craigslist...that was a while ago if I'm correct, I wouldn't be surprised if they bought more.

...yes I think they do link as I cannot post anything using the email details that were linked to my banned ebay account...

damn they are buying EVERYTHING! If they buy facebook next I wouldn't be surprised.

Don't give eb so much credit. I would put companies like Facebook, Google, and Apple in a whole separate league..
