Creating eBay token thru Auctiva
 

I use "Hide My IP" to create a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ IP.

Yesterday I first created a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ IP.
Then went to ebay and created a new seller account.
Then today, I fired up my laptop again, again masked my real IP with a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one, and then went to Auctiva to create my token.

During the token creation, Hide My IP crashed, and I can't be sure if my IP was masked during the token creation, thus my real laptop IP may have been exposed during the token creation phase.

Is this a concern I should have?

I didn't know it was possible to hide/mask your IP with eBay and that they could see your real one, can anyone confirm if Hide My IP works to create a new IP first?

I've been using Hide My IP, and it seems to give me a new IP just fine.
I confirm this with IPBurger.
But, now I'm hearing others say that it's not possible to mask your IP with Hide My IP.
That tells me that IPBurger isn't the final test.

So, I'm getting confilcting information.

Is IPBurger the final test or not?

If you are using Hide My IP, try this website and look under the 'Proxy Server Detection' section to see your real IP and under 'My IP Address' section to see the IP you are using to mask the real one. :thumb:
