can i be linked by pictures

OK here is the situation.... I have a camera that i have been using for all my eBay. it is the same camera i used for my accounts that got suspended. so if i take a picture for this camera and put the card into my computer and upload the picture to my eBay listing can eBay make a link by the new picture that is is from me and that i was suspended. Or is there a stealth way to take pictures and put them in listing. I never use the same picture 2 times as i sell one off items. But i would hate to get shut down because eBay can tell i am uploading and using the same camera and stuff as my suspended accounts.

I dont use a host site to put my pictures on i just take them and make my listing and click upload image and balm i'm done. if this is not the stealth way i need to know before i go any further. I could not find anything in the book that told about pics but i just need to cover all my bases.

My good guess from old posts says yes. Some are still skeptical about it, but why take the chances?
When I began my Stealth account, I had over 400 pictures of the same thing that I had used before, but the time, money, hard work and effort I put into creating the Stealth was not worth losing, so I deleted EVERYTHING and took every picture over again.

Some of the VERY BEST on here will tell you to begin over and others will have other opinions.

Play it safe and begin over with your pictures. Good Luck!

Was looking into it,

Since the Exif tag contains information about the photo, it can pose a privacy issue. For example, a photo taken with a *GPS-enabled camera can reveal the exact location it was taken, which is undesirable in some situations. By removing the Exif tag with software such as ExifTool before publishing, the photographer can avoid possible problems.

*With your specific camera being 5 years old it is unlikely to store GPS locations.

It may also contain the camera's make, model and serial number. So it would be possible to see it was your camera from a suspended account.

Whether e bay do this is another thing though, I could see them doing it for copyright info when it is disputed.

I suppose that using an EXIFTOOL should be used just to be safe!

You could upload them to something like photobucket and place them into your listing from there.

Are just using the exif tool before uploading will probably be enough. :noidea:

I do not know about any good EXIF tools but this one is free and was on the EXIF wiki page.
