CC Cleaner + Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager?

cleared on my internet history and did cc cleaner i also cleared the Adobe
Flash Player Settings Manager (I'm running Mozilla Firefox) and i was wondering if its safe to my main account for my new eBay account on my computer after i did this (This is the account i had my suspend eBay on)

ShadyOne 05-29-2011 02:07 PM

I would say it is safe.

But I still open a new user account all the time. Just to play it safe.

NotAHappyBunny 05-29-2011 07:32 PM

hi
I'd play it safe as shady said, and name the new user account in your new stealth name.

Don't forget to change the IP and notice it everytime before you login to ebay.

Doesn't your CCleaner also clear out the Adobe Flash cookies anyway? I'm pretty sure mine does.

brog1330 05-30-2011 10:14 AM

Not to push the issue, but this might be your problem right here:
CCleaner - Cleaning Flash cookies

Or, you can use CCleaner to clean Flash cookies when it runs. By default, CCleaner is set to leave Flash cookies alone.

Not to push the issue too :D - you have to try it yourself and experiment.

I tried it many times and after using ccleaner, i find that there are still some flash cookies which i then remove from macromedia website.

brog1330 06-16-2011 12:35 AM

Also note that im only going to run one account so would it be ok to use my main account?:juggle:

jbluntz 06-16-2011 12:50 AM

As long as you clear flash, cookies and change ip you'll be fine, I've done it myself many times, just make sure and browse around a bit first so they don't ask for the e-mail pin verification.

brog1330 06-17-2011 12:05 AM

They asked me for that last night is that bad? :suspicious:

jbluntz 06-17-2011 12:27 AM

Not as long as you have the ebay secret, I've gotton them many times, you get that when you don't have enough browsing history for them to recognize your computer and you go to list something, which is why it's better to use users unless you only have 1 account on your main user.

brog1330 06-17-2011 12:52 AM

so sense im using only one account and only plan to have one i can use my main account i did CC cleaner and the flash player and erased all of that i also uninstalled Fire Fox so is it ok to use my main account? I'm pretty sure its a yes but i want to double check:juggle:

jbluntz 06-17-2011 01:25 AM

Yes it is, you got it all cleaned out so it's just as good as any other user, if it makes you feel better you can always reinstall the o/s but that wouldn't really be neccassary.

restricted_in_miami 06-17-2011 07:06 AM

I just downloaded a program called Flush for deleting flash cookies. Seems like it's done the trick. I must add that I did see ebay flash cookies there before they were deleted and I haven't used ebay for weeks since i've been kicked off!! I hope this worked.. Maybe other mac users might wanna check it out..

Hopefully I'll be selling again by the end of the day.. I am friggin broke as heck and penniless!! This has been the worst time of my life since I've been suspended, at the brink of being homeless.. Please wish me luck guys!!

BTW I was a 99.7 rated 3 year user kicked off for low dsr's in shipping price and shipping time. I had low dsr's in shipping cus I required buyers to pay for tracking on expensive items!!

Watch your accounts guys, if selling is your only income you can nearly be out on the streets like me if ur not careful!!

brog1330 06-17-2011 07:31 AM

I know the feeling man it was my main source of income 100 feedback at 100% i got caught shill bidding and i didnt even know that was a real thing i just started selling again and the feeling is awesome :amen:

oompaloompa 06-17-2011 10:50 AM

BTW you can set your ccleaner for gutmann 35 passes cleaning....

if you need to clean up a window for re-use, you dont have to uninstall flash, just delete all sites button on adobe settings manager site, and cc clean it all up, or just delete that window (as long as it isnt admin) and make another.
