New BATCH ".Bat" File to Change IP Address
HI:
I dont know how many folks this will help, but I thought I would share it anyhow.
I believe it depends on how your system is configured, and whether you are running direct to your dsl modem or not?
I had it written by a local Programmer. He tells me to do the following:
a.) Create a notepad file on your desktop--call it ipchanger
b.) copy and paste the following into that notepad:
Echo ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/flushdns
echo ipconfig/release
ipconfig/release
echo ipconfig/renew
ipconfig/renew
exit
c.) now- save as:
ipchanger.bat
d.)
now, the icon will change form from a notepad doc, to a little icon with wheels/tools
e.) now click on this newly created icon, several times
f.) I have found that my ip only changes when directly connected to a dsl modem, no router attached..
But others maybe different?
Best of Luck
BTW:
Using this "same concept"..THERES PROBABLY OTHER NEAT THINGS WE CAN SHORT CUT LIKE THIS??
