AOL Browser/Dial-Up still viable?

Was looking around but couldn't see this addressed.

Is using AOL browser & using their proxy as a means of masking your IP still viable for making new accounts?

Nope, canned its recommendation about 15 months ago.

aspkin did extensive research and deemed it 'less' reliable. We've steered well away from its usage.

I'd look at a dongle, 2nd BT line & any of the mobile usb. can get a bargin on the 'bay ;)
