changing ip address help

hello, im new to the forum and trying to set up a few stealth ebay and paypal accounts.
i understand changing the different user accounts to prevent cookies.

however, i have a BT Home Hub Router and was wondering if there is an easy way to change the IP?

i can sign into the router and alter the settings. if i go to the IP address tab, can i type a new ip in the box provided? will this change the IP and prevent me getting linked?

Yes - you press the reset button - it's the bottom button on the right hand side
