Can eBay trace you through Yahoo?
 

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows whether eBay can trace you by viewing your login information on yahoo? as I am currently logging into both my 'old' yahoo email account which was linked to my old suspended eBay account, & my 'new' yahoo email account which is linked to my current (non-suspended) eBay account (on the same computer).

This is a great question... and same goes for gmail etc. too does anyone know?

No they cannot. Make sure images are disabled

In myopinion, they don't link you even if you do view the emails with images enabled, since they never linked me that way. Disabling it won't hurt, if you are paranoid.

why would ebay have any access to your yahoo email info just by logging into your yahoo account? there is no connection. If you used the email again for ebay yes but other than that what could be connected??

Wouldnt the only way be if you sent an email to ebay with that old account??

if you sold something that violated vero rights, would they ever be able to use email to trace you?

Not for the reason posted by the OP. Their scenario no. Maybe if things where different they could but not some old email that has nothing to do with the current eb/pp account.
