Can I be linked by repeating customers????
 

If I open a stealth account will EB or PP link me because of my repeating cusromers?
I sell in a category where 70% or more of my customers are repeating customers.

Nobody any experiences???

I have had the same customer buy 20 things on separate occasions - whether cheap or pricey - have not had problems. ONly thing I will say is that maybe MAYBE if his account has problems then I might be "investigated"...

Well, then hopefully none of my customers have ever any problems. :hail: My customers are usually always the same ones. Some of them purchased my items since last year or at least since a couple of month.

no way this would be a cause of linking. the only way i can see this happening is if a problem had an issue with you before (suspended account), and then does again.

You should be fine. Like said above, as long as you are keeping htem pleased you are fine.

you start pissing someone off then they start seeing links and turning you in. I have turned someone in before like this. They were bidding on their own stuff but same thing.

what if that customer.....is actually you as a stealth account ? Thats when things get interesting.

I have had many of the same customers.

Some of them you cannot forget. Especially when they demand that you use a certain size box, bubbles, green peanuts and tell you how to pack the item.

Many others I remember their ebay name and I have sold to them over and over on different accounts and really have to watch how I pack the item, if I print the label or write it myself etc.

Then you are not working the system correctly. If you cant recognize your stealth name, then you are asking for troubles:juggle:

To be linked just on the same customers no. But I had paypal link me based on selling the same type of items. I used to always list my items in the same format, always sell the same type of items,and so on. So now I completely think like Im someone else and make sure everything I do, is done different. So if they were suspicious of your account and then seen the same users buying / same items sold It could link you.

I am beginning to wonder what tricks these b stards have up their sleeves because it seems to me you start doing well then bam ur down.
im sure trading standards would pass 98% sold on there by us normal sellers trying to make ends meet.
Is it they just want our money and sod everyone because until somebody can compete then they hold the olympic torch for ever?????
