should we worry about mac address or not?
 

Hey everyone, I bought the stealth book about 2 months ago now and have read the book about 3 times. Just want to be clear since this MAC address thing is starting to pop up more on here. I currently use a VERIZON MIFI DATA Card account and want to know if logging in from DIFFERENT COMPUTER USERS and EBAY ACCOUNTS on Each comp user is going to be a problem. I getting worried... tell me your thoughts on this.

According to the users here, keeping same MAC address has not caused any further suspensions. IP address seems to be the main issue. Towards that end, I was thinking of getting the Verizon MiFi (instead of dial-up modem). Still.... I wonder if MAC address is a problem or not since they are traceable directly to your machines.

From what I know, it is OK to leave your MAC address as is. eb only see your external ip which can be seen at ipburger.com

I used to change my MAC for eb as a precaution, but I do not anymore as it saves me time - have had no problems at all.

Bear in mind, I am in UK and have a UK setup and I know nothing about Verizion - but I am certain I am correct.

yeah the verizon mifi works great! I wanted the dynamic IP address and the speeds of the mifi is so fast! I get like 18mps download and 6-7mbs upload!
