AGHRRRR, Cant dial-up through VoIP!!!

anyone else try/ have this problem? I have vonage, Comast Cable.. and aol, but no land line(thats why i have vonage) when i try to dial up with aol through My Voip line, it beeps and does an sounds like its going to connect like normal , then nothing, ive tried differnet numbers, same thing. and Aol support is NO help!

i heard that u cant use dail up through VoIP i dont know why this is but u would think it would work.

if u find a way for this to work plz let me know cause my landlines shut off with a $175 bill :(

VoiP has too low of quality for data transfer.

i read on google a guy did it through vonage but it seems like alot of work to make it work.

But after it worked, didn't he get some cruddy connection like 14.4?

yeah like 35 kbs was the max i seen it wasnt the fastest but just use netzero 5x 56k and it shouldnt be to bad
