2 eBay accounts. 1 IP. Diffrent names
 

I want to open another eBay account, my first one is just fine and running, no really big issues with that yet but I plan to just let it sit there for a while as I want to change my ebaying tactics a bit (dont ask why just go along lol).

For this new ebay I want to open up under my same ole IP, PO box, same phone #, but diffrent name, but ebay business account.

When I mean same, meaning same as my old account (its not suspended).

Would this be OK to do? I know and heard people opening multiple accounts on ebay is allowed, just wondering can I do this too. (Plan to use real info of my cousin to open new ebay with business).

Or should I just change up the name and address and ebay account type on my old ebay account which is running fine.

as long as u dont get banned you would be fine but if one of them gets banned the other will shortly follow

qwerty, you are making me very nervous! for me I do not think this is a good idea for down
the track. Why? What are you going to do if one or other of the accounts goes down? You
have lost two accounts. My preference would be to have x2 completely different accounts.
You could possibly make an account using LLC but I would keep everything apart.
These are being described here as back-up accounts.

im not creating a back up account, i am making a new account with LEGIT information so I can use authorize.net on my auctions (which has to have REAL info as they ask for social etc..)

If you have a problem on one account and that goes down, then any other account that has the same info goes as well. So change details of existing GOOD account and take it
from there. If you are able, think of having another stand alone/backup account.

Think of it this way, spread your options.

Never create more then 1 acc with the same info, if one gets taken down the whole ship comes down, ive had this happen to me before i knew about this forum, its not a good feeling believe me.

arrhh! You too have had that ebay no longer loves you email as well? Suxs big time.

yeah we've all been there and done that right.

i wouldnt make a 2nd account with the same ip,
make a new account under a new ip, new info, new everything

better safe then sorry, right?
