Get a unlcoked dongle from ebay there cheap enough and then all you need is the sims. Some contracts will come with the mifi but if you want to stick to PAYG then the dongle on ebay and free sim is your best bet

What sort of unlocked dongles are we talking about, also are they available anywhere else apart from eBay?

I'm guessing the costs for PAYG dongles range from about £10-30 a month, so I'd buy a pay as you go sim with a 1Gb allowance or something similar?

Whats the deal with using ebay mobiley can this be done stealth wise ??
Or is it only done via webpage on computer? Thanks cant find aage for this

When you say ebay mobile, do you mean the app? Or using eBay on your phone via a browser?

Do the IP's only change when you disconnect, or mid-way through surfing?

What sort of IP ranges are you getting and also, I'm assuming you can tether with almost all dongles, correct? So why are you using just your (Virgin dongle is it?) for this? Thanks.

Tethering is done with a phone (I am have virgin contracted phone)

Dongles are plugged into you computers USB slots. I have a tmobile dongle for this.

TO find the IP range, use google.

I'm assuming there are no disadvantages to using a mifi device as opposed to a dongle, correct? (Maybe the other way round)

I use Virgin Mobile. Never had a issue with this. Do not buy the Samsung dongle from T-mobile. They just made me lose 50 bucks for something stupid they did.

I thought I was set for life with my Verizon jetpack...That is until lately. I have been constantly getting recurring IP's and Verizon is charging me for ridiculous ghost data. I usually use about approx one MB per session and all of a sudden the data usage jumps 2GB used in 15 f'ing minutes. How is that possible?? Did I unknowingly stream an HD Movie?? Anyway, I want to switch asap...any suggestions?
