My brother opened an account for me in his home state. Will the account get suspended if I log on to his account,from my home state, using an IP address that is different from my active accounts and user names?

Also, I have to ship the items from my state. Will it be wise to proceed if the Ebay and Paypal accounts are linked to an IP address in one state, and I have total access over the account in another state with a different IP address?

What is the best way to make this work?
Should I have him to delete the account and I reopen it here?

It would be better if both of you were using a usb modem from the same cell phone company as the ip changes each time you log in and it would be probably be in another state than both of you. For example with verizon the ip address's show kansas and I am hundreds of miles away.

I am reading it. Thanks for asking, but I was simply asking for advice on what to do with the account now that I understand how IP addresses work.

You can operate accounts registered in one state but working out of another BUT you have to go slow and make sure eb/pp don't think you are risky. If you can't figure out how NOT to look risky...then this method is not for you.
