ip addresses via router, which IP address is the one the world sees?
 

sorry but i am far from a computer person but have a question regarding IP addresses. When i connect from the modem directly to the computer, I show this IP 24.45.56.14 through ipconfig/all. But when i put my belkin router to my modem, i show 192.168.2.1 as my ip address. But ip burger says that its 24.45.56.14. Do i need to change both ips?

As you can see i am no computer genius but maybe its a legit question. I tried calling the local computer people down here but they tell me to ask my service provider.

Restart your router, and you will get a new IP address (this is how it works in the UK anyway).
